SDSU Digital Collections UX/UI Design
San Diego State University Digital Collections is an online digital archive of materials housed at the SDSU Love Library. From the website: The SDSU Library and Information Access Digital Collections Program digitizes and makes available unique and important collections to support teaching and research. The collections are selected to benefit SDSU and our community by providing high quality digital editions of significant archival holdings to enhance access and preservation.
The previous version of the website was dated and because it houses a great deal of information, had not grown to efficiently display a large quantity of materials. Working with the SDSU department I reorganized the architecture of the site to better display materials and enhance functionality and ease of browsing. I created wireframes to improve use and also designed the interface which I then provided to ibase who implemented the design on the site.
